About Us

Welcome to Spiritual Glow we’re so glad you’re here.

We’re Leanna & Wally, the team behind Spiritual Glow, nestled in the heart of Leighton Buzzard alongside so many wonderful independent businesses. You’ll find us in our shop (open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), at the Leighton Buzzard Market every Saturday (weather permitting), and at our monthly pop-up in Midsummer Place, Milton Keynes, on the first Saturday of each month from March to November. Our online shop is always open too, wherever you are.

Spiritual Glow officially launched in early 2022, but the spark started a little earlier. In December 2021, I (Leanna) had a minor car accident and ended up taking some time off work from the NHS. It wasn’t serious, but that unexpected pause changed everything  it really showed me that sometimes everything does happen for a reason. I was already unhappy in my job, and being away from it made me realise just how anxious and disconnected I had become. Something in my soul knew that going back wasn’t right for me anymore. Wally said, “Don’t go back let’s do our own thing.” With some savings, a lot of courage, and a shared belief in what we were building, Spiritual Glow was born.

I’ve always been an empath, drawn to the spiritual realm since childhood. I was interested in crystals, oracle cards and spiritual fairs long before this business existed. But everything deepened in 2019 when my dad passed away. His death cracked me open in ways I never expected. I felt him around me, noticed signs and synchronicities, and had dreams that felt more like visits than imagination. That was the moment my spiritual journey truly took off.

Crystals became my lifeline. They brought comfort when grief felt overwhelming, clarity when my mind felt scattered, and calm when my nervous system needed rest. Some helped me meditate, some lifted my energy, and others supported my intuition and spiritual awareness. I truly believe you’re drawn to the crystals you need and we see it all the time. People pick one without knowing why, then read the little card and go, “Oh… that makes so much sense.” There’s always a reason.

Losing my dad is what inspired me to share the healing, comfort and connection that crystals brought me. Spiritual Glow is run with heart, honesty, integrity, pride and good intentions a place where people feel safe, supported, and welcome just as they are.

And now, let’s talk about Wally because Spiritual Glow simply would not be what it is today without him. We truly run this business together. Wally is the quiet powerhouse behind the scenes, sourcing the highest-quality crystals, envisioning and designing our stall setups, and doing all the heavy lifting (literally and creatively). He built our stall from scratch, turning two simple tables into the beautiful display you see today, all from ideas in his head. He also loves chatting with customers and has built genuine relationships with so many of you I always joke he could sell snow to the Eskimos.

While I take care of the social media and spiritual side of things, Wally is the backbone of everything else and more than that, he’s been my rock through the hardest time of my life, especially after losing my dad. He believed in me when I doubted myself, and without his love, support and encouragement, Spiritual Glow simply wouldn’t exist. I’m endlessly grateful for him.

Spiritual Glow is truly a family-run business. Wally’s mum, Sharon, is a big part of our journey too helping us on market days and often running the shop when I’m not there. She brings the same warmth, kindness and care that we want every customer to feel.

We’re also lucky to have our beautiful friend Aimee as part of the Spiritual Glow family. When Wally and I are at our Milton Keynes pop-ups, Aimee looks after our Leighton Buzzard market stall. She’s been with us since the early days, supports us wholeheartedly, and is amazing with customers a genuinely lovely soul who brings so much positive energy with her.

Most importantly, none of this would exist without you our customers, supporters and now friends. Whether you’ve shopped with us, visited our stall, or followed our journey, your support keeps this dream alive and we are endlessly grateful.

We believe in offering a warm, personable, human shopping experience. So if you ever have questions, need guidance, or just fancy a chat, you’re always welcome to reach out through our Contact Page, Facebook or Instagram. We’re here and we’re so glad you’re here too.
